Dear Friends and Neighbors

As we all work through this difficult and challenging time, we have been forced to make hard decisions that are impacting how we live our lives. Decisions are being made from the highest levels of government to the smallest of communities, as ours, in order to safeguard our residents.

With school closed, the workforce at home, and tolls suspended at the bridge, we are seeing large groups of people congregating at the playgrounds and the beaches, as if it was a summer day. Therefore, I have ordered the playgrounds and beaches closed to cut down on the surge of people coming into our community. At this time the boardwalk is still open, that can change if we see large groups congregating, putting others at risk.

Those with the 2020 or 2019 car decals will be able to park in the “VAB Parking Only” spots, all others will be ticketed. It is important that we all do our part, as we work through this.
