Calling All Gardeners!

The Village Garden needs volunteers to roll up their sleeves and help us plant this season’s summer crops on Sunday morning, May 19th at 8:30 AM.  We’ve got lots to plant and welcome your assistance! Since we are using a full range of garden equipment, this event is only open to Adults and Children over 12. We’ll be posting a schedule of events for younger children throughout the season.

Because this event is an organized planting, we cannot accommodate large groups and participation is limited. We also ask that if you have registered but find out that you can’t make the event that you let us know so we can invite someone else off the waiting list.

There’s no need to despair if you are not able to participate this time or get closed out of registration. We have gardening sessions every other Saturday and Sunday morning -plus one or two days during the week all summer. And, just so you know, we’re scheduling, events, presentations, and workshops all year round. We also serve coffee, juice, and a light breakfast to volunteers on the weekends.

To Register: Send an email with “The Big Plant” in the subject line to abvillagegarden@gmail.com
You must include your name, your Village address, and contact information. Your phone number or email address will help us contact you just in case we need to cancel due to weather.
